The following are the director and shareholders of Dalesridge Ltd and Intermediated Services Ltd. Dalesridge is the holding company for Intermediated Services Ltd our FCA regulated business.

Christian Young - CEO and Founder

Christian was Founder Shareholder and CEO of Drakefield Insurance Services Ltd, which was backed by private equity to acquire Go Travel Insurance in 2004. Sold to the AA in 2007; Acromas acquired the AA later in that year.

2008 Christian also became a member of the AA Group Executives, AA Insurance Board, Acromas Travel Board (Saga, AA and Titan).

Former roles include: Resolution Partners - Corporate Finance Partner, Non-Executive roles at MNC - DRTV agency and Sectorlight marketing and design supporting the MBO from Saatchi & Saatchi. Founder shareholder/CEO of Nicholson Chamberlain Colls Marine, a specialist Lloyd's broker (active in trade contingency, political risk, shipping/oil and other commercial areas) this was sold to Aon. Chairman of Aon's Nicholson Leslie Marine, a member of Aon's Lloyd's Group board. Elected member of the Lloyd's Insurance Brokers Marine Executive Committee. Subsequently Chief Executive Officer of Merasis Group and Rydex Corporation, an internet and software subsidiary of Inmarsat PLC.

Andy Taylor Managing Director, Underwriting and Dalesridge Founder

Andy was founder of Go Travel Insurance Services Ltd in 1998 and developed Go to be at the forefront of online travel insurance. This included launching 1Stop travel insurance. He sold to Drakefield in June 2004 and subsequently returned to the business as a shareholder, business development and underwriting director working closely with Christian.

Andy was retained by the AA responsible for product development. In 30 years specialising in travel insurance, product development, distribution and claims, including involved in the founding and building of Whiteley Insurance Consultants, creation of a claims and sales IT platform for the Ketteridge Group, and with JLT, Jardines in the commercial and travel area.

He has an in depth knowledge of the travel industry, including the underwriting and pricing performance of a number of successful schemes. He is a non-executive director of Citybond Holdings plc. A qualified professional bike instructor and a well known organiser of track day training and group leisure days within the bike community.

Tim Ward - Financial Director & Compliance

An experienced FD, formerly UKU Group 2002-2008 Group Finance Director & Shareholder. He joined as Financial Controller in 2002 when it was UKI Group, UK Insurance Ltd (a fully regulated insurer) established by Green Flag Ltd. UKI established itself as a specialist scheme division within Green Flag. Grew net premium income from £2m to £25m between 1993 and 2002, when the business was sold to Primary Group and rebranded UKU Group, became a shareholder. Key role in number of corporate transitions/M&A. Re-positioned the business from a 3rd party underwriter to a multi-channel, multi-stakeholder virtual insurer in key markets with significantly enhanced margins. Grew GWP from £62m to £180m between 2002/08, achieving profitable underwriting each year. Underwrote around 400 specialist schemes for clients such as: Ryanair, Debenhams, Age Concern, WA Shearings, Jet2, Vision Express and Black Horse as well as marketing a range of owned direct brands. Achieved successful equity exit in 2008.

Non-Executive roles include Chairman of Resuspod Ltd, angel investor and charitable trust activities. Started career at Ernst & Young following BA (Hons) Nottingham University.
